This demonstrates the power our company’s philosophy of combining top-tier technology with effortless and beautiful design to create easier to use, streamlined and more effective applications. Moving forward, we will be creating similarly great experiences for other productivity applications such as Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.”

The number of people choosing to rate Kiwi for Gmail (more than 1,700) is also impressive given that fact that the app has only been around for a year. By comparison, Apple’s own apps, which have been available for four years and marketed with all the muscle of the most cash-rich company in the world, have the following total number of ratings:

  • Apple Keynote (Apple’s version of Powerpoint, pre-installed on every Mac), has 2,857 ratings.
